職業は？と聞かれるとアパレルなんでしょうが、要は製造業の事。
もちろん製造業のアパレルがカッコいいんだけど。
多くのメーカーがアウトソーシングだと完成するまでが不安だと思うのですが
TCBは自社工場なので生産中に、途中途中で専務がクオリティチェックを随時出来るのが自社工場の強みだと思います。
本日の工場で縫製してたのは30’sHAT
パネルが組み合わさった時点で被ってチェック
ブリムのステッチが終わったドーナツ状の段階で被ってチェックして
シャンプーハットみたいだね！って言ってみたり、ドラゴンボールのチャオズみたいだねとか抜き取り検査は日々行われております。
夏に間に合いませんでしたが30’s HAT準備中で御座います。
日射からも守もってくれる印象ですが、寒さからも守れますので是非ご検討ください。

追伸
このHATはVintage同様ブリムの接ぎが無い1枚物のドーナツ仕様になります。
この仕様はまず裁断時、裁断機がの刃が入りませんのでハサミで1枚づつ丸く、くり抜く必要が有ります。
そしてブリムのグルグルステッチも接ぎが入ると1周ごとに糸を切れるのですが1枚物の場合はステッチを1回も切らずに縫う必要が有りますので技術はもちろんですが一枚ごとに下糸の有無を確認する必要が有るので、地味に大変な作業となります。

If asked about my occupation, I’d say it’s apparel/manufacturing, which I guess is the coolest for a fashion brand.
For most fashion brands, after they hand in cut pattern and specification sheet to sewing factory, they are just to wait till products are completed but we can do whatever small things while the production itself.

Today we were sewing 30’s hats. We check the fit after we sew together 6 panels of fabric, after finishing the stitches on the brim.
We could not make it till the summer finishes but they are soon ready.

There’s no joint on the brim which is made the same way as the vintage hat. In order to cut out the donut-shaped fabric, you can’t use the cut machine so that you gotta cut it with scissors. Also, the round stitches on the brim can only be done in a one-go so that good skills are required. You also need to care about if the bottom thread is still enough to do a long stroke of round stitches.
