OLYMPICモデルとループ付きの201の帯裏です。
何故か帯下の下糸がどちらもブラックなのでTCBでもブラックで縫いました。
そんなに太くない30番手の糸なので一瞬本縫いと間違えてしまう位生地に沈んでしまっています。

The inner side of the waist belt on the vintage 201 and Olympic Jeans. The bobbin threads are ecru, which is unusual for jeans and TCB does the same for our repro. The yarn count for these sewing threads is 30, which is not very thick for jean making. So, the seam appears like a lock stitch because the threads sink into the fabric but it’s indeed chain stitched

戦時中にドイツからインディゴの輸入が不可能になってLogwoodを用いる様になったとは先述してますが、そんな時代に何故かボタンホールが開いてる比翼布のみIndigoを使われてます。
これは何でなんでしょうね。何かのメッセージなのか、それとも工場で比翼布を備蓄してボタンホールで開けといてストックしてたからIndigoを採用したのでしょうか。。色々な想像が出来ます。因みにトップのボタンホールは通称99の流れハトメ　比翼のボタンホールは71の眠り（シャツ穴）になります。

If you look at the overlocking stitches, the shape and width of the overlocking are also made close to the vintage. It’s so called “narrow lock”. (Only among Japanese vintage freaks, I guess)
