先週1週間かけてWW2コンテストの色落ちを紹介させて頂きましたが、こちらの不備で数名様分の紹介が出来ておりませんでした。
改めて、ご紹介をさせて頂きます。

コメント:Sorry to be late to the party… with apparently shaky hands (it’s getting a bit dark here). Just out of the wash. Got some serious marbling last time so these went in inside out which has evened everything out nicely.
These look pretty much exactly like all my other TCB – all of which look great, so I’m happy. I have to scroll back to see who won, but for me, knowing I have at least another year’s worth of wear is prize enough. Thanks to everyone involved for a great job.

提出が遅れてごめんよ。まだ少し肌寒いイギリスの夜に、震える手で洗いたてのS40’sの写真を撮ったよ。前回の洗いでは、一気に表面に小皺ができたので、今回は裏向きに洗ってみた結果、ちょうど相殺されていい感じの見た目になったよ。最終的には他に履いてきたTCBのパンツに似たような色落ちになって、とてもハッピーだよ。（Paul Tは50’s, 20’sコンテストにも参加してくれていました。そして、その２本はTCBのFactoryに飾ってあり、シワの入り方がどれもそっくりです。）

他の皆の色落ちも今から見てみるけど、誰が勝ったとか、賞品がなんだとかよりも、後1年くらいはこの素晴らしいジーンズが履ける状態にあることが既に僕にとっては最高のプライズさ！このジーンズ、コンテストに関わった皆さん、本当にありがとう！

各ジーンズの審査も合わせて進行しておりますので、この土曜日の発表をぜひお楽しみに。

余談ではありますが、
海外勢の中で最後に届いた写真は、TCBとしても親好が長く続いているPaul Trynkaさんからでした。私どもが記憶している限り、国外でTCBのジーンズを初めて注文してくれたのが彼でした。彼は、世界的に有名な音楽雑誌であるmojo magazineの編集長を経験しており、British Rockのジャーナリストとして、世界的に名が知られる方です。また、Portrait of the Blues、Denimといったジーンズに関する書籍もリリースされていて、デニム考察ブログを運営していたりと、根っからのジーンズ好きでもあります。

イギリスロックといえば、David BowieやThe Beatlesなど、歴史に名を刻んだミュージシャンが多数いますね。ここ数日のSneak Peekでも紹介しているTCBの新デニム。とあるイギリスのレジェンドにも愛されていましたね。今回、Paul Trynkaさんが一肌脱いでくれたおかげで、岡山　児島の小さなデニムブランドから発表されるとは思えないビッグサプライズも準備しております。新denimと合わせてぜひお楽しみに！

By the way, the last fade picture is from Mr. Paul Trynka, who I think is the very first person who bought our jeans from overseas. He might not be as famous as he is for people who read this English translation but he’s worked as the editor of the legendary music magazine, Mojo, and is a renowned author for such books as Electric Guitar (1993), Portrait of the Blues (1996) and Denim (2001). In 2011, he published Starman: David Bowie, a biography of English musician David Bowie. In addition, he is a denim lover and he published several books regarding denim, which we love and display at TCB factory.

Speaking of the UK music scene, there are some legends like David Bowie and The Beatles. In the past few days, we’ve shown some sneak peek on our new denim tux and the Liverpool legend used to love the denim which we reproduced this time. TCB is just a small denim brand of 10 people located in such a countryside city, Kojima but we’ve prepared something very surprising for you thanks to Mr. Paul Trynka. Please look forward to our new release as well as the big surprise we prepared this time!
