8月に娘とMOTOさんの3人で打ち合わせしたProjectが始動してます。
サスペンダーなんて作るのシンプルだし…
って思ってたら大間違いで
ボタンホールのパーツも完成してしまったら分からないのですが伸び止めテープが貼られており、縫製後も穴の中にボンドを注入され糸をライターでヒートカットし、最後にハンマーで叩くという全然想像してなかった工程が重ねられておりました。

知っちゃうと、更に愛着が沸いちゃう奴ですね。

I didn’t know about a lot about the making process of suspenders. But speaking only of the making of button hole parts, a anti stretching tape is applied inside and after the sewing, bond is applied to each sewing holes, heat-cut the threads, hammering it to get a right shape, etc. lots of work in it.
