私は完全なスラムダンク世代なので桜木花道がゴリに言われる
『リバウンドを制する者は試合を制す』
や
『諦めたらそこで試合終了』
等の名言に沢山勇気を貰いました。

I love Slam Dunk, basketball comics and there are lots of well said remarks in the story.
There is even a philosophy book citing all those remarks from Slum Dunk so you gotta read them if you like Basket Ball. I’m 100% serious about this.

さて、最近会社では田中君が専務の指導のもとUNION SPECIALの巻縫いを勉強しております。
巻き縫いは教えるのにも数値化する事が難しく慣れて貰うしか無いのですが。
テクニック的な事は専務から教わってると思うので私からは一言
『ユニオンスペシャルを制する者はジーンズ作りを制す』
と２５年間言ってみたかったセリフを使えた事に嬉しく思います。
早く慣れて貰ってハイタッチもしたいと思います。

Well, recently TK aka red cap boy is learning how to lap seam by Union Special, instructed by our production manager, Taka. There’s no textbook to learn it so it’s like you need to train your muscle memory to do it right so the more you do the better you get kind-of thing. Taka gives all advice he could give so there’s nothing really left for me to say but I just wanna say ” The sewing man that masters the Union Special, masters the Jeans making.” , which line I’ve always wanted to say for more than 25 years haha.
It’s kinda like how everything works off the jab in boxing.

When he maters him, I’ll need to hi-five him like Rukawa and Sakuragi did.
