タイトルの通りTCB Pre-shrunk jeans(Type505)の再生産が完了しました。
このTYPE505というのは防縮加工が施されてフロントはZipper FlyというTCBの中ではワーク色が少し薄く、小綺麗な提案が出来ないTCBとしては印象が弱いのかな？って勝手に位置付けしてたのですが、意外と作れば待ってる方の多さに驚くそんなジーンズです。
特にアメリカで人気なのも嬉しいです。
現在の感覚だとストレートジーンズ。
当時の感覚は恐らく501に比べたらスッキリして斬新だった。
そんな塩梅が素敵なジーンズです。

AS the title goes, 505 are now back in stock!
I don’t know why but 505 is one of the least popular model among Japanese customers whereas it’s one of the best selling jeans on our international website. It’s interesting but I think Japanese fashion magazines have featured 501 as the king of jeans ever since this vintage jeans/repro jeans fad started in Japan in the early 90’s.

When it was released in history, they must have been slim and tapered but they must be categorized in straight jeans today. I think 505 have a bit of workwear feeling as well as smart looking at the same time. That balance is the best part of these jeans I reckon!
