Wool Lined Type 1 Jacketに使用してる生地
Vintageは50年代ですが、今回はTCBの30’sJKや20’sPTと同じ生地をあえて採用させて頂きました。
年代で決めたというより1stと2ndで分けたという形にしました。
この生地は8番×8番の12.5ozと若干軽い生地なので人によってはもう少しオンスが高い方が良い色落ちになるのでは？って質問を頂く事が有りますがこの生地を使い始めて５年、コシが有るのでコントラストを付けたければしっかり付きますし気に入ってる生地の一つです。
綿もオリジナルで作って貰ってますのでを綿を運ぶ時の箱にさえTCBオリジナルの綿品番が印字されてるのが嬉しかったです。
中々、綿品番を持ってる別注生地は少ないでしょうね。
綿品番は『TCB8B MF』
生地品番は『TCB-001』

We’d like to recap the fabric used on our Wool Lined Type 1 Jacket which we recently released as the last big release for 2021.
The yarn count for both warps and wefts is 8, making it 12.5oz fabric. It’s fair to say it’s categorized as a light oz denim even in the vintage jeans history. English doesn’t have a right word to describe but we say this fabric has some bounce or the fabric is chewy in Japanese, meaning the yarns are fairly tightly spun so that if you wanna have deep strong whiskers like on your jeans, it’s not that hard on this fabric.

We even have the exclusive cotton for this fabric. This denim world has been going more and more maniac but I’d say there is very few exclusive fabric that is made from its exclusive cotton.
The item code for our exclusive cotton is TCB8B MF and the one for the fabric itself is TCB-001. TCB have developed more than 10 or 20 custom made fabrics so far but in terms of the accuracy of the fade, Hajime thinks this TCB-001 resembles the most the jeans from 20’s!
