生地を作る時に、SpecialなVintageを参考にし、可能な場合は糸を解したり、化学的に研究して貰って進めて行きます。
そうして出来上がった生地は、もちろん愛着も有るのでとても楽しい素敵な仕事。

もちろんこの様な工程を踏んで生地を作ると言う事はTCBだけが行ってるとは思っておりません。
ふと思ったんですが、洋服のモノづくりでは
Plan計画してDo実行してお届けする。という半円のサイクルしか水面上にしか上がってきません。
分かりやすく言えば開発する時はモノづくりチームを結成するんだけど、それを作ってくれた生地屋さんを巻き込んで検証してフィードバックをするという事はあまり聞いた事が有りません。

もう少しで私が穿いてきたS40’sが参考にした大戦モデルの色に近づきますので日々表情の変化をチェックして、この穿き込んだS40’sの糸の形状や打ち込みをCheckチェックして貰って、3年前に自分達が立てた仮説が正しかったかどうかの検証を企んでいます。
PDCAのAction（改善はあるのでしょうか？）
あ！2022年最後のS40’sの予約受付中です。

When we produce a custom-made fabric for a reproduction of a certain vintage piece, we ask for help from an institute to check the shape of threads in a microscopic level. After long study and much effort given, we also feel something special to our exclusive fabric, which is also a fun and exciting job to do.

But, I say that’s how other brands approach when making a new fabric.
However, in the vintage reproduction world, we only do P and D in the PDCA cycle, right?
I mean we do study the fabric and do anything possible to make the fabric resemble the vintage jeans but we don’t look back at how it’s faded and don’t really plan to make it better.

I want TCB to be different in that aspect. Our crews and I also have worn the S40’s for the past 2 years and now we have the fade samples to make it better. Let’s see if we need to improve anything of S40’s!
