急な発表となりましたが2023年　最初の新作はSLIM Tとさせて頂きました。
基本的に古着を参考にしてその空気感をどう再現するかを大事にしてるので初めてSLIMタイプを作る時は葛藤が有りました。
ただしお店を作って沢山のお客さんと接客する中で、
『若い頃は501ベースのシルエットを穿いてたけど、年齢と共に形はスッキリしてるのが良い』
とか
世界と繋がって行く中で海外の日本のジーンズが大好きだ！って方の大半が日本の生地をスリムカットで色落ちさせたい方が大半だと気付いた事がキッカケでした。
私は例え話で日本車を海外に輸出する時に左ハンドルにするのと同じイメージと伝えます

ただ、シルエットの拘りを謳ったジーンズは沢山有りますけど、防縮加工された生地やストレッチデニムが主流だと思います。生機の迫力ある色落ちも楽しめるスッキリしたジーンズを作る事が私たちがSLIMを作る条件にしました。
そして今までのSLIM50 SLIM Rと何が違うの？って方も多いと思います。
細かな数値はそれぞれのサイズ表を確認して頂くのが一番良いと思いますが、今までのSLIMシリーズの中では
腰回りに一番余裕が有り、膝より下は緩やかにテーパードさせています。
股上も3つの中では一番深いモデルになります。
クラシックなモデルの野暮ったさは無いし、ストレッチデニムじゃないと穿けない様なピタピタでも無い。
沢山ジーンズを持たれてる方の隙間のポジションを埋めてくれる様なシルエットになってると自負してます。
現に、ワールドカップが終わり次第、スケボーからサッカーボールに乗り換えた田中もリフティングに支障の無いシルエットと絶賛しております。
生地や縫製仕様は、TCB50’sと共通ですのでお馴染みの迫力有る色落ちをお楽しみ下さい。

It’s a sudden new release after new year but our first release is 50’s Slim T jeans.
We have sold Slim 50’s and Slim 50’s R for a few years but both are discontinued and these Slim T will be our standard slim tapered jeans.

It’s a sudden announcement right after the new year but our first release of 2023 is Slim 50’s T. About 8 years back when TCB decided to release our first slim model, I must say I was not that willing to make vintage-like slim jeans. Slim and vintage-like contradicts for a true vintage jeans lover like me. But as I dealt with many customers at shop, I recieved many feedbacks requesting slim jeans. There were many reasons for it like as you get older, baggy jeans start to seem a bit unfavorable or overseas denim lovers are more fond of slimmer cut, etc.

I also thought back then that if I wanted to continue making jeans, I would definitely need to bring the value of japan-made jeans to people all over the world. If I put it in some other way, cars are a good example. When JP cars are imported, the handle is at the opposite side, right? The same thing should be applied to jeans and since this idea settled in my head, I felt there was nothing wrong to make vintage-like jeans in a slim silhouette.

There are many slim jeans in the scene with some slogan saying “the best cut or the ergonomically comfortable cut” but they are basically made of stretching fabric or sanforized denim but there are very few jeans that also can fade like vintage. As long as TCB makes a slim model, awesome fade was a must.

For the detail, I think it’s best to check the measurements but Slim T has a bit higher rise with a bit wider thigh. It’s not too slim like skinny jeans or not too wide like classic jeans but it’s just right balanced for modern cowboys!

After the World Cup, TK seems to have put away his skateboard and started football instead with the Slim T and he says it’s easier to do lifting with this slim pants. The sewing details and the fabric are the same as our standard model, 50’s Jeans so that great fade is guaranteed!

年始恒例のお年玉企画、今年もございます。
TCBの製品でお好きなものをどれでも！という訳ではなく、TCBは販売者でもあり生産者でもあるが故、どうしても避けられない属性のモノになります。それが、織傷です。

As we mentioned in the last TCB live, we are going to do a huge giveaway to our followers.
It’s not that we will give away any products you want but TCB being as a seller and a manufacturer at the same time, there is one thing inevitable: Fabric defects.

ビンテージ製品には往々にしてよく見られる織傷ですが、Levis社はじめ、当時のストアブランド商品でも織傷ありは、B品（Irregular)扱いで販売されていた記録もありますね。TCBとしては、織傷有りの製品はお客様へお売りできるクオリティではないと判断し、廃棄してしまったり、在庫置き場で眠ったりしていましたので、誰の目にも触れないまま無くなるよりかは誰かに着てもらえれば嬉しく思いますのでこういった企画を実施させていただく次第です。

It’s very often seen on any vintage denim items but Levis or so-called store brands used to sell them as irregular products. When we find this kind of irregularity on a product, we usually have no choice but to throw them away or let them sleep forever in our warehouse but we’d be more glad if anyone wears them than throwing them away.That’s why we decided to do this giveaway!
