8/11から先行販売のTABBYS COATの新色
写真で観ると以前採用してたデニムと同じに見えるかも知れませんが新たな生地を採用してます。
よく横糸にグレーやカーキの糸が使われる生地をVintageのカバーオールやペインターのライトオンスのデニムで見かける事が有ります。
理由は横糸を色糸にする事によって、汚れを目立たせなくする効果が有ったり、縦糸がそんなに濃色に染まってなくても生地が濃色に見えるので、当時コストを抑えて濃色デニムを作る工夫だったのかも知れません。
もちろん今までもTCBでは横糸に色が付いたライトオンスデニムは多数採用してきましたが今回使用したデニムの横糸はなんとチャコールグレー。
より汚れが目立たなくしたかったんだろうしより生地が濃色に見えるので、ワークの生地というより上品なネイビーのツイルにも見える生地と仕上がっております。
綿自体は米綿とオーストラリアのブレンド 10×10の10oz
力織機を使ったセルビッチデニムになります。
この上品なデニムが荒々しく変化して行くのを是非経験してみて下さい。

This denim coat looks very similar to the previous ver but we have adopted a different denim this time.
When it comes to vintage painter pants or chore coats, you often see them made of light oz denim with grey or khaki wefts.
If you use those colored threads on denim, it makes the fabric look darker indigo but with less cost so maybe it was a way to cut the costs but make your denim look dark enough to look more durable.
The fabric we use this time is with wefts dyed in charcoal grey! It adds a bit chic vibe to this denim fabric! The cotton is blended American and Australian cotton and is 10oz fabric. If you are looking for some classy denim wear, this is it!
