そして今日の写真は私が5ヶ月毎日着用した30’s Jeans

通常のデニムはタテ糸に比べて横糸を若干細くする事が一般的に多いのですが、この生地はVintageの37を参考にタテ糸もヨコ糸6番手で14.1ozになります。
そして、ヨコ糸が太く、糸の打ち込みも多いので結果コシとハリが有る生地となっています。

他のジーンズではあまり経験してませんが今回の私のジーンズにはウォレットチェーンの跡が色落ちとして浮かび上がってます。
恐らく生地の特性上ハリコシが強い分擦れる部分の影響をモロに受けやすく出た色落ちだと思います。
最近プチブーム？の糊付けして穿いてる状態の生地に何もしなくても近い色落ちを体験出来ると思います。

こんな事書くとセールストークとしては失格ですが7-8月に穿き始めるのはオススメしない30’sですが秋に向けてのストックとして検討頂けたら嬉しく思います。

The production of 30’s Jeans has been just completed. Since we have been taking pre-orders, we don’t have all the sizes ready to ship now but some sizes are also back in stock for immediate deliveries.

Today’s photos are of my 30’s jeans worn for about 5 months.
When it comes to developing custom made denim fabric, it’s very common to choose narrower threads for wefts than the threads for the warps but our 30’s fabric is made of thread count 6 for both warps and wefts. In addition, the weaving tension is quite tense. Although it’s 14.1 oz fabric, you might find the fabric a bit tougher and heavier than you think!

I haven’t really experienced this on my other TCB jeans but my 30’s jeans are showing some wallet chain fade this time. I think the crispness of the 30’s fabric plays some roll in it.
It’s not the best sales pitch for sure but I don’t recommend wearing 30’s in the summer at least in Japan. It’s just too hot to wear this heavy fabric even for a denim fanatic like me… but for those who are looking for new jeans to wear from this autumn!
