古着屋に行けばいつでも手に入るだろって思ってたアイテムが気付けば高くなってったり希少な物になってて驚く事が増えた昨今。
生地の場合でもいつでも定番で有るだろって思った物が作れなくなってたり作るハードルが高くなってて驚く事が増えてきました。

今回のCordsもその内の一つ。
ウェル（畝の太さ）がLevisと同じでピンクなんて定番でいつでも手に入ると思ってたら全然今は無し。
今回も色を作る所からお願いしました。

I often get surprised that some vintage stuffs which used to be available anywhere at a reasonable price cost much more these days or that I can’t even find shops who sell them.
This also applies to fabrics. Like I thought this one fabric is genuine classic but they say it’s already discontinued. Fabric makers try to reduce the risk of excessed stocks so it’s of course understandable but I gotta say that it’s getting more and more difficult to make nice clothings.

This cord fabric is exactly it. I mean the corduroy fabrics that have the same wale width as the vintage Levis are the epitome of standard cord fabric and in my head there should be plenty colors available as ready-made stuff but it wasn’t the case at all. We gotta start from making the exact color for the fabric.
