今回発表させて頂いたBrown DuckのCathartt
現在大好評を頂いており、既に欠品サイズが出始めてる状態でありがとう御座います。

実はサラッとBrownダックの事について説明して発表してしまってたのですが、
現在映画公開中等でメディアに引っ張りダコの友人Viktor Fredbäck から許可を貰えたので少しだけ生地に付いて語ろうと思います。

今回のBrown Duck、実はVIktorが面白いから見て！ってTCBに送ってくれたのが始まりです。
サクッと言うもんだから何だろうなとラフに構えてたら届いたのが
『リベットが世に出たばかりの1870年代ののLevisのBrown Duck』
でした。

股のマチも魅力的でこのままOldest Wast Overallの提案もしようと思ったんですが、
Brown Duckのカバーオールが大好きな私は、Levis最古のダックから作った生地をCatharttで作ろうと思った次第です。

なので今回作ったDuckは防縮加工の施されてないShrink to fit 仕様。
もちろん製品で洗ってますし縮率を計算した後にパターンを作ってるのでお客様にご負担は掛けませんが、生機ならではの表情と色落ちをこのジャケットでも楽しんで頂けると思っています。

Brown canvas always worries denim brands. I mean we want to make them because it’s the original work wear fabric but they are not for everyone compared to denim but against my expectation, I’m relived to see our new canvas chore coats are selling quickly getting sold out in some sizes.
We didn’t explain much about the custom made fabric.

It started from Viktor sending us Levis vintage brown canvas pants of 1870 right after the riveted pants were released.
The vintage pants were also a super interesting piece but because I love canvas chore coats too much, we’ve decided to make our chorecoats with this new fabric.

So the fabric this time is unsanforized, shrink-to-fit (already washed though) fabric.
Not so many denim brands try to make custom made duck fabrics and I think this new fabric is something you haven’t really seen from other brands!
