Cathartt Chore Coatのハートボタンの猫は我が家のトラちゃんを参考にしました。
原案は細かく毛並みとかも描いてます。
但し、ボタンを作る際には彫り師さんが立体的に掘るのに線は省略すると言われました。
勿論,私はこのイラスト通りになるとは思ってなくて、良い意味で省略された線がチープに転がればVintageの様なボタンの雰囲気になるかな？って思ってました。
結果はBOSS OF THE ROADの犬やFINKSの豚や CAN’T BUST’EMの鶏に負けない猫のチェンジボタンが出来上がったと自負しております。

I referred to Tora (My cat) for the button design for the Cathartt. The original design had the lie of fur but the button craftsman told me that it would be too difficult to have it on the button design so I left it to the professional. Of course I knew that those fine lines would be omitted but I also thought it would lead to creating some cheapskate buttons like vintage in good ways.
As a result, I think these buttons are as good as the dog button from Boss of the road, the pic button from Finks, or the hen buttons from Can’t Bust’em.
