先日のインスタliveで少し話題になったS40’sの生地は着用してると伸びるのか？っていう話。
生機から洗った際の縮率は私たちも把握しておりますが、どれ位穿いてると伸びるのか？っていう話に踏み込んだ事は有りません。
それは何故かというと縮率みたいに平均値を出せる訳では無く着用者のサイズ感や生活にも関わるので、仮に3cm伸びます！って説明をしてしまって大きめに穿いてる方が
『3cm伸びるって聞いてたのに全然伸びないんだけど…』
って誤解を生んでもいけないというのが大きな理由だと思います。
なので今日のblogはあくまでも参考程度に、私たちのジーンズは新品時から何センチ伸びてるかを紹介したいと思いますのでご理解のほど宜しくお願いします。

As it popped out in the last TCB IG live, we dive into how much stretching you should expect for S40’s Jeans.
We understand the shrinkage rate of each fabric but never talked in detail about the stretching because it can totally depend on the initial fit of the jeans for you so that we can’t have the definitive answer to it. If we explained that these jeans would definitely stretch by 3cm but if it didn’t happen on a customer’s pair that would lead to a complaint. So, we are just showing some examples of the stretch on TCB staff’s pairs

余談ですが、最近のジーンズはウエストの帯の部分に接着芯という伸び止めや工場が縫いやすい様に不織布が貼られてる事が有ります。ウエスト数が安定するというメリットが有りますが立体感が失われてしまうのでTCBでは使った事が有りません。
It a bit off the topic but recently a core sheet, which you see often inside collars of shirt, is used for jeans’ waist so that it’s easier to sew and it prevents the waist from stretching but vintages are of course without it so TCB doesn’t use it either.

①山縣君　29インチ着用　70cmが72cmに伸びました。
彼はウエストが細いためジャストで穿いてるように感じますが大きな変化は無し。

②Ryo君　36インチ着用　86cmが90cmに伸びました。
馬かRyo君か！という位、体重の増減が激しいので増えた時期にはウエストにある程度のテンションは掛かってるのかも？。最近はサンプル時のフィッティングモデルも兼ねてるので是非安定した体重をお願いしたい。

③わたくし井上　40インチ着用　94cmが102cmに伸びました。
新品時トップボタンも止めるのも精一杯だったのでテンションが掛かり8cmも伸びております。
会社でのトップという自覚をそろそろ持つ為にトップボタンはしっかり止まる様になりたい。

I could barely fasten the top button when I first wore them so for a while I didn’t fasten it but wore the jeans with a belt. But now it stretched by 8cm. I’m a top for TCB so I should be able to fasten the top button!
