何年か前に何かのインタビューでこんな質問を受けました
『ジーンズを作って良かった事はなんですか？』
私は
『きっとジーンズを作って無かったら出会えないであろう人数の出会いが生まれてる事が良かった事です』
と答えました。
それはもちろん自分の事として出した答えなんですが、
今日はTCBを通じて出会った偶然同世代という三人が時間を合わせてTCBまで遊びに来てくれました。
それはまるで同窓会にも修学旅行にも見える素敵な時間でした。
もしもう一度同じ質問を受けたらこう答えます
『私も含めTCBJeansをキッカケで世界中の人に出逢いのキッカケを作れてる事です』

When I had an interview from some magazine a few years ago, the interviewer asked me what’s the best part of having jeans-making as your job?.

I thought about it for a little while and said, It gave me so many opportunities to meet new people.
The other day, our customers who are all at the same age as me visited TCB　and it felt as if it were some kind of class reunion. Without my job, I wouldn’t have had a chance to get to know them at all.

When speaking with our overseas customers, sometimes they tell me that people on the street saw the jeans one’s wearing and gave a compliment to the jeans. This kind of thing never really happens in Japan, country of shy people, but I’m so grateful that our jeans can become a trigger for that kind of small conversation or maybe it might lead to some sort of friendship. TCB’s motto is good life with a good pair of jeans and we will continue pursuing for this indigo road!
