Viktors Voice第二弾のGood Luckが徐々に皆様の手に届いてる頃かと思います。
喜びの声や着画がSNS上でも確認でき私も嬉しく思う中、
『裏側の生地端のほつれはそのままでも良い？』
という質問を何人かから受け取ったので説明したいと思います。
今回ターゲットにしたGood LuckとBoss of the roadは1870-80年
一部折り伏せの箇所も有りますが色々な場所が切りっぱなしの為、驚いた方も多いと思います。
このディテールを現代風に生地処理する方法も有ったのですが、TCBでは実際のVintage同様にフリンジはする様に作ってます。
新品をワンウォッシュしたばかりの状態が一番フリンジしてるのでお客様によっては驚かれたかもしれません。
もちろんトリミングして頂いても構わないのですが、普通に着用してると徐々にフリンジは無くなってくるのと、フリンジはしてますが、強度を保つ様にこっそりとステッチを入れてせき止めする様にしてるので、そこは安心して頂けたらと思います。

もちろんこういうフリンジ期を経てオーバーロックミシンが生まれたと思うと感慨深く思います。

We have finished shipping all the Good Luck to the pre-orderers!
I’ve happily seen many photos of Good Luck on IG and also have received some questions about the loose threads coming out of the edges of fabric so let me please explain again.

The vintage Good Luck pants and the vintage Boss of The Road Jacket we referred to this time were both from 1870~1880s. On both vintage pieces, the edges were mostly left unfinished like this, which I’m sure surprised some of you.

It’s possible for us to have clean finishes but we wanted to have the same vintage finish.
Secretly, we’ve added a plain seam just beside each fringe so that the threads won’t get looser anymore so no worries in that sense! We must respect again the overlock sewing machines!
