1870-1880年に作られたであろうジーンズの再現の為、通常の仕様だとベルトループは付きません。
一応既にオンラインストアには記載してますがオーダーの際、備考欄にベルトループを希望と記載して頂ければ追加可能です。
やはり
『デイリーに着用するにはベルトが使えた方が良いんだ』
という事でしょう。注文時はループを追加される方の方が多い印象です。
今日は、質問でもベルトープを追加出来ますか？頂く事が多いので改めてループ追加可能のお知らせと、ループが付いた時のジーンズの雰囲気を見たいとの事だったので先行で1本仕上げてみました。
まずは1880年当時にはベルトループが付いて無い訳ですから、いかに雰囲気を壊さないか注意しました。
たまたま1880年代のスーツのトラウザーのベルトループが付いてる写真を見つける事が出来きそれをベースに考えました。
通常の2本針のミシンを使ってラッパで曲げていけば簡単ですが今回は1本1本手で折りセンターを1本針で縫う仕様。
そして位置もセンターバックに布ラベルが付くので左右のバックシンチの位置に合わせました。これも当時のトラウザーと同じ位置です。
結果通常ベルトループは5本が多いのですが6本付きます。
フロントもダートステッチと被りすぎたら嫌だなと思ってたのですが、全然気になりならないと思います。
そして最後にループの縫い付け方法ですが、1922年以降はバータックにて装着されておりますが、参考にしたトラウザーの写真では真横にステッチが入ってるのみでした。
1880年代の時代感を考慮した結果、バータックは合わないと思い、Good Luckもシングルステッチにて縫い付けております。
ただ、安心して使用して欲しい為3回縫ってる為、気にせずベルトを通して下さい。

About the belt loop option for Good Luck series.
It’s a reproduction model of the vintage pair made in 1870-1880s so that they originally don’t have the belt loops. But as written on the product page, TCB will attach them for free of charge if you want.

We recently have received many questions about how the belt loos will be attached so here are some examples.
In order not to make the belt loops look mismatched with the jeans, we have payed some extra caution to the detail. I’ve looked for some sample trousers in the same era and have referred to the detail this time.
Back then, the double needle machines didn’t exist so the belt loop is also sewn by single needle machine. As the jeans have the patch in the middle, the back belt loops are attached to the cinch strap. When it comes to the number of the belt loops for jeans, 5 is the usual number but this pair will have 6. At that time, bar tuck machines didn’t exist either so they are sewn by single stitch too. In terms of durability, we sew them 3 times for long use so no worries about it!
