TCBを引退して5年は経つでしょうか？
70歳になってから40肩になったという一発ギャグを私に披露してくれてたヨシエちゃんが久しぶりにTCBに遊びに来てくれました。
当時からお客さんが来られると勝手にお喋りを始めて、
『この襟のアイロンは私がした！』　『このジーンズの方が似合う！』
とか説明を始める事が思春期時の母親が自分の部屋に入ってきたみたいで嫌だったんだけど、今思えば作り手が直接説明するって素晴らしいよねという今のTCBの考えのヒントを貰ったのはヨシエちゃんからかも知れません。

年齢を聞くと80代になったらしく、それでもTCBの階段をスタスタと歩いて上がって遊びに来てくれた事が嬉しかったです。
高度成長期の繊維産業を支えた児島の、この年代の女性は強いですね。
九州の生まれで集団就職で児島に来た！って言ってたかな？
先輩たちが作った道を丁寧に進みたいと思いました。
7年前のヨシエちゃん　当時から柄のストールがトレードマーク。
今日もCats’s Pawの柄に柄のストールと柄のBagを合わせて柄を喧嘩させるオバチャンスタイルが最高です。

It’s been about 5 years since she retired from TCB.
She is Yoshie who had worked for us for quite a long time.

Back then when she was with us, she liked to talk with customers, telling that I did the ironing on this jacket and you should buy this pair and not that one!
It reminded me of my youth day when my mother came into my room without a knock and I didn’t like it but the person who actually makes the product explains what it is to customers and that’s cool!

It seems she turned to 80 this year but she still is vibrant, climbing up the steep stairs at TCB without getting out of breath and it made me happy. (I do get out of breath by the way)
