残り10日と少しになりましたTCBxSufu S40s WW2 contest
本来で有れば世界中のジーンズと共に生活されてる方をカメラを持って切り取りに行きたかったのですが,まさかのコンテスト期間中をずっとコロナ禍で過ごすなんて誰が予想したでしょうか？
様々なジーンズライフを実際に観に行けなかったが残念で仕方ありません…
その代わりって言ったら変ですが２週間に一度は同じ倉敷で参加して頂いてるKiriyamaさんに協力して頂いてジーンズの成長を追っかけさせて頂きました。
スタートから１年間洗わなかったので途中ブラックジーンズ疑惑もありましたがラストスパートに向けて先日２回目の洗濯をされたみたいで大迫力の色落ちをみせてくれております。
そして以前も書きましたがこのコンテストを締めくくるオンラインのイベントもRYO君と相談中なので楽しみにして頂ければと思います。
私も世界中からの色落ち写真が届く事を楽しみにしております。
Only 10 days left for the S40’s fade contest. I was supposed to travel around the world to take pictures of your fade with my Leica in my hands but I never expected I would stay in Japan for the whole duration of the contest, which was very unfortunate. Instead of that, I, on a monthly basis, visited Kiriyama-san and Shiga-kun to report about their fade progress. Kiriyama-san’s S40’s at one point looked like a pair of black jeans because of too much dust accumulated but for the last spurt he recently washed his jeans twice and now they turned into great fade!

I’ve been discussing with Ryo how we should do the finale but we’ll soon make an announcement about that!
