右綾デニムでスタートしたTCB
もちろん何度も左綾も作ろっかな？って考えた事も有りました。
左綾だと何が良いかなーって古着や資料を漁った結果、何故か作り始めたのがLEEの初期の右綾デニムでした。
そこは何となく私のアマノジャクな性格と
COWBOYをCATBOYに変更したら可愛いじゃんって勝手に自分の中で盛り上がったのが大きな理由かもしれません。

デニムの定義と言えば経糸に色糸、緯糸に白い糸とされています。
ですがCOWBOY時代のデニムを紐解くと経糸にはインディゴ、緯糸にはグレーと、濃色デニムなLeviに対抗してLEEは淡いインディゴなんだけど緯糸も染める事によって汚れが目立ちにくくしたんだと思います。
この考えはJELT DENIMでも同じですよね。

そんな思いで始まったCATBOY のDENIMも先日生産を終了させ、生地が無くなり次第終了となります。

現在Jacketは生産中で6/中から7月初めに完成予定で予約を受付中です。
今回生産分はリジッドでの手配も可能です。詳しくは、予約ページ上に記載がありますのでご確認をお願いします。あと1週間程度で、洗い工程に入りますのでお早めにご検討ください。

TCB’s products so far are all made of right hand twill fabric. Of course, there were countless times that i would make something made of left hand twill denim.
At one point, I started to research what I’d do with left hand fabric but in the end I started to work on Lee right hand twill, not the Lee iconic left hand twill.

I’m kind of a person who wants to do the opposite against what people tell me to do haha. Also I like puns, especially cat puns. So Cowboy to Catboy first came up to my mind.

The definition of denim fabric is said that the warp is indigo and the weft is ecru. But if you look at the cowboy fabric, the warp is of course indigo but the weft is predyed in grey. Levi’s wanted to dye the garments as deeply as they could to prevent stains from standing out but Lee’s approach was a bit different in this sense, using grey for the wefts.

We have put so much time and energy to reproduce the fabric but they are soon to be discontinued. If you haven’t tried our cat boy yet, I think this is one of the best fabric I’ve made in the past so I’d like all denimheads to try them out. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

そして去年の緊急事態宣言時に作成したSTAY HOME TAGを今年も作成するという形になってしまいました…
Last year, we made this special Stay Home patch to encourage people to stay home and stop Covid but it seems we need to do this again.

ということで、ご希望の方々に限り、TCB製品のどの商品をお買い上げ頂いてもこちらのタグを同梱　もしくは取り付けをして、商品をお届けさせて頂きます。　注文時の備考欄に、Stay home with your cat タグ希望の旨をご記入頂ければと思います。

・場所によってはご希望の位置への取り付けが難しい場合がございます。ご希望の位置をご指定頂けますが、
ご相談が必要な場合、こちらからメールにて確認連絡をさせて頂きます。
＊例えばですが、デニムジャケットの胸ボケットの下部など、一度ポケットを取りはずしてしまわないと取り付けができないような箇所は
取り付けをお断りしております。
・左右の指定は、その商品を着用した際の右手側or左手側でご指示ください。
・位置はmm単位での指定は難しいので、多少のズレがある場合がございますが、ご了承をお願い致します。

Let me note a few points regarding the tag
* We are going to either include the tag or attach the tag to your purchased item
* If you’d like us to attach the tag, please mention that in the note section. When you indicate left or right, please indicate that based on when you wear them.
* the number of the tag is limited so we’ll finish the service when we’ve run out of the tag.
*We’ll try to cater to your demand as to where you’d like to have the tag attached but some cases we can’t due to the structure of a garment. e.g. the bottom half of a front pocket of a jean jacket→ we need to take the pocket off to attach the tag. We can only attach the tag where any disassembly is not needed.
