少し気が早いけど、
今年の春はSHOP COATを羽織ろうと企んでいます。
インナーにGジャンを挟んでみたり、
フードを出してみたり。
カバーオールの上から羽織るのも悪くない。
丈のバランスはどうだろう？
レイヤードした時に重たくならないかな？
なんて考えながら、鏡の前であれこれ試す時間も楽しい。
でも正直なところ、
丈の心配よりも別の問題がある。
私はワークウエアのポケットを
徹底的に使い倒す癖がある。
内ポケット、胸ポケット、腰ポケット。
気づけば自分がどこに何を入れたのか分からなくなる。
春になる前に、まずは自分の整理整頓能力をどうにかしないといけないのかもしれません（笑）
そんなSHOP COATですが、
キュンはキュンで古着を織り交ぜて着用していたので撮影させてもらいました。
同じ服でも、
彼が着るとまた全然違う。

TCBが作る服、というより
私たちが作っているヘリテージな普遍服は、
着る“キャラ”によってまったく違う顔を見せます。
同じSHOP COATでも、
私が着た場合。
キュンが着た場合。
Ryo君が着た場合。
それぞれにまったく違う空気が宿る。
シルエットは同じでも、
立ち方、癖、合わせる古着、
日々の過ごし方までが滲み出る。
そして、そこに経年変化が加わると
さらに個性は浮き彫りになっていく。
色落ちや皺は、単なる劣化ではなく
“その人の時間”が刻まれた証。
服は完成品ではなく、
着る人によって完成していくものだと
あらためて思います。
It may be a little early to say this,
but I’m already planning to wear the SHOP COAT this coming spring.
Layering a G-jean underneath.
Letting a hoodie peek out.
Throwing it over a coverall isn’t a bad idea either.
I wonder about the length balance.
Will it feel too heavy when layered?
Trying different combinations in front of the mirror —
that time itself is part of the fun.
But to be honest,
the length isn’t my biggest concern.
I have a habit of fully utilizing every pocket in my workwear.
Inside pockets, chest pockets, waist pockets.
Before I know it, I can’t remember where I put what.
Maybe before spring arrives,
I should first work on my own organization skills. (laugh)
Speaking of the SHOP COAT,
Kyun styled his with vintage pieces, so I asked him if I could photograph him in it.
Even though it’s the same coat,
it looks completely different on him.

Rather than simply saying “TCB makes clothes,”
what we truly create are heritage pieces with a sense of permanence.
And those pieces look entirely different depending on who wears them.
The same SHOP COAT —
when I wear it.
When Kyun wears it.
When Ryo wears it.
Each of us gives it a completely different atmosphere.
The silhouette may be identical,
but the way we stand, our habits, the vintage pieces we mix in,
even the way we live — all of it seeps into the garment.
And once aging and wear come into play,
those differences become even more visible.
Fades and wrinkles are not just signs of deterioration.
They are proof of the time a person has lived in that piece.
Clothes are not finished products.
They are completed by the person who wears them.
And every time I see that happen,
I’m reminded of why we do what we do.
