10月になり、Gジャンを探されている方がメチャクチャ多いなと感じるこのタイミングで、60’s JKの再生産が完了しました。
1stや2ndのボックスシルエットと違い、切り替えを入れることで立体的なフォルムを描くのがこの年代の特徴です。
今日の写真に使ったUSEDの60’s JKは日焼けしてしまっていますが、この年代特有の澄んだブルーの生地感がしっかり残っています。
スニーカーやCDのように、年に一度手に取るか取らないかだけど、コレクションとして並んでいないと落ち着かない──そんなもの、誰しもありますよね。
身体はひとつしかないけれど、クローゼットに

と並んでいるのを見ると、なぜか嬉しくなる。

Unlike the boxy silhouettes of the 1st or 2nd models, the 60’s features panel construction that gives it a more three-dimensional shape — a key characteristic of this era.
The USED 60’s JK used in today’s photos has been sun-faded over time, but it still retains that beautiful, clear blue hue that’s unique to denim from this period.
Just like sneakers or CDs that you might pick up only once a year but still feel compelled to keep lined up on your shelf — we all have those things, don’t we?
You only have one body, but when you open your closet and see
the 1st,
the WWII model,
the 2nd,
and the 3rd
lined up together, it somehow makes you happy.
So, I hope you’ll add the 60’s JK to that lineup as well.
