無事に再生産が完了しました。

今日の写真はTCBではお馴染みのhemlockの達也君と後輩で韓国から児島に来て頑張ってるインス君。

日本には地場産業という仕事が有って、かつてはその土地に生まれ育った方達が家業として就く産業だったのかも知れません。
でも日本の人口の縮小化と地方の過疎化によりそれだけでは産業の継続性は難しくなってきました。

結果的に地場に移住してその土地の産業に就くのが私の世代だったのかも知れません。
そして現代はよりその考え方をグローバルにする必要があり、全国から児島に働きに来る。から世界から児島に働きに来る。
そんな街が有っても良いんだろうなと、よそ者の私は感じてたりします。

もう一度繰り返すと日本の人口はシュリンクする一方です。
Made in Japanという定義からMade By TCBという定義にして世界中の人を沸かせる事がこれからも児島の地場産業が残る一つの手なんだろうなと思うばかりです。

This model is characterized by its square-shaped collar, which spreads wide when buttoned all the way to the top.
Today’s photos capture that detail, featuring Tatsuya from Hemlock and our junior, Insu, who came all the way from Korea to work hard here in Kojima.
Traditionally, Japan’s local industries were carried on by those born and raised in the region, often as a family business.
But with the decline in population and the advance of depopulation, that form alone is no longer sustainable.
That’s why it’s important that newcomers take on these industries, and that cities like Kojima welcome not only people from across Japan, but also from around the world.
As an outsider myself, I strongly feel this future for Kojima.
In a shrinking Japan, one way to preserve Kojima’s local industry is not through the idea of “Made in Japan” but “Made by TCB.”
No matter where someone is born, no matter their nationality, the same spirit and dedication can bring true value to the clothes we create.

이 모델은 버튼을 맨 위까지 잠그면 가로로 넓게 퍼지는 사각형 칼라가 특징입니다.
오늘의 사진은 그 특징을 잘 담아주었고, Hemlock의 타츠야 군과 한국에서 고지마로 와서 열심히 노력하고 있는 후배 인수 군이 모델로 참여해주었습니다.
예전에는 일본의 지역 산업은 그 지역에서 태어나고 자란 사람들이 가업으로 이어가는 것이 일반적이었습니다.
하지만 인구 감소와 과소화가 진행되는 지금, 그 형태만으로는 지속이 어렵습니다.
그래서 외지에서 온 사람들이 산업을 이어받고, 일본 국내뿐만 아니라 전 세계에서 사람들이 모여드는 도시가 될 필요가 있습니다.
저 역시 외부에서 온 사람이기에, 고지마의 미래를 그렇게 느끼고 있습니다.
인구가 줄어드는 일본에서 고지마의 지역 산업을 지켜내는 하나의 방법은 **“Made in Japan”이 아니라 “Made by TCB”**라는 생각입니다.
어디에서 태어났든, 국적이 다르더라도 같은 마음으로 만든 옷에는 가치를 담을 수 있다고 믿습니다.
