Wool Lined Type 1 Jacket　が無事に完成したので一宮まで今回も協力して頂いたXXDEVELOPMENTの太一くんとションヘル織機に感謝を伝えに行ってきました。
私も服を作る仕事は20年ほどしてますが、意外と一方通行の物作りが多く完成した物を生地屋さんに見せに行く人って居ないと思います。
でも、だからこそ完成して洗ったジャケットを見せたいと思いました。
職人の佐藤さんの世代だと、どうしても職人は黒子に徹するべきという方が多く最初は写真がNGでした。
唯、私はTCBを買って頂く方にはどんな方が携わってるのかという事を可能な限り伝えたいと思い撮影の協力もお願いし撮影の許可を頂いております。みなさんも届いたウールボーダーを手に取りながら写真を見て頂き空気感を感じて頂ければ嬉しいです。

We’ve delivered the lined jacket before the Christmas and as a last job I visited Gifu again and the wool weaving factory to show my gratitude for helping us make the great jacket.
I’ve been making clothes and been in the fashion industry for 20 years now but this industry is one-way. I mean no one goes to show the final result to its partnered mill or factory somehow in this industry but I wanted to show what we’ve made to the grand master, Mr. Sato.

People of Mr. Sato’s age say they should be a backroom guy so he said no to my photo shooting request. But I always want our customers to know who behind the scenes make the product because these small industries for niche demand are dyeing. Some small factories have already gone to bankruptcy after the Covid shock as well.
