WHOVAL石橋さん率いるBLUE SAKURA TEAMと作ったWrecked Wrecking Crew Pants

Today’s pics are of the withered Wrecking Crew Pants made in a collaboration with Blue Sakura team.

特徴はもちろん膝の手縫いのリメイクになります。
これは古着でも多く見られるのですが、５０１等のセルビッチのデニムの膝が破れた場合は脇を解体してミシンを入れればタタキが入るんですが、脇も内側も巻き縫いのオーバーオールやペインターは脇を開けれないので手縫いで直してるケースをvintageでも多々見かけてました。
なので今回オーバーオールでUSEDやろうよ！って企画が上がった時、いの一番に直しのステッチは手縫いだな！って思った次第です。
完成を嬉しく思います。

One feature I need to look closely at is the repair is the hand sewn knee repair.
If it’s a pair of jeans, we take the legs open to do repair since its plain stitched on the side so it’s easy to undo the seams and redo them after repairs but when it comes to a bib overall or painter pants, the inseam and the outseam are both lap seamed so it’s impossible to do a repair like we do on a pair of jeans. And I’ve seen lots of overalls and painter pants repaired by hands so when this project popped up between me and the boss of Blue Sakura, the first thing decided was to hand repair the knees.

個人的には、革靴と同じくらいオンラインで購入することが難しいモノがデニムだと思っていますので、オンラインでの接客をより身近に＆より気軽にいただけるように　TCB JEANSの公式LINEアカウントを作りました。

As a state of emergency was declared for Okayama prefecture where TCB is located, we have decided to close down our shop till the end of May.
