Back to Painter Pants

Since the second half of last year, we’ve been gradually expanding our lineup of coveralls.
And naturally, the next thing I felt compelled to bring back was the painter pants.
It’s been a really long time since we last made them.
They’re based on 1950s vintage examples —
not filled with unusual or flashy details,
but designed to be the simplest and most versatile version.
Lately, I’ve personally been obsessed with the idea of always having black in our lineup.
I like the thought that even rugged, workwear-style garments can feel a little more grown-up,
a little more refined, depending on how they’re worn.
As you can see in today’s photos,
when a coverall starts to look nicely worn-in,
I actually find that black pants balance the look better than classic indigo.
And pairing painter pants with the Workers lounge jacket —
which we recently received from a close friend —
has also started to feel like a really good combination.
