岡山の戦友、
Workers の展示会にお邪魔した時に、
「これ、いいな」と思って、
自分の分と、
お店用にも一緒にオーダーしていた Lounge Jacket。
展示会の際に撮影していただいた写真が、
皆さんにとても好評だったのも、
その理由のひとつです。

普段、TPO も関係なくワークウェアを着ている私からすると、
テーラードジャケットを着る機会なんて、ほとんどありません。
でも、1着くらいは、持っていたいですよね。

「いつか大人になったら、こういう服を着るんだろうな」
そう思いながら、
気づけば、もうそれなりの年齢。

でも、古いワークウェアの着用写真を見ていると、
オーバーオールの上から、
さっとジャケットを羽織って、
HAT を被って、飲みに出かける。
そんな姿が、妙にかっこよくて。

カチッとしたジャケットは、少し照れくさいけれど、
これは、カバーオールの延長のような生地と仕様。
「これなら欲しいな」と思えたのが、
このジャケットとの出会いでした。

舘野さんは、最近、
「Field of Dream だよ」って、よく言います。
準備が整ってから出番が来るんじゃなくて、
場所を作るから、何かが起こるんだ、と。

きっと、私にも。
そして、皆さんにも。

ワードローブに無い“ジャケット”を着てみることで、
着たからこその気持ちや、
着たからこその出会いが、
生まれるかもしれません。

When I visited the exhibition of our comrades in Okayama, Workers,
there was a jacket I found myself thinking, “This is really nice.”
So I ordered one for myself—and some for the shop as well.
The photos they kindly took of me at the exhibition were very well received,
and that became another reason I wanted to bring this jacket into our lineup.
To be honest, I rarely have any occasion to wear tailored jackets.
I usually live in workwear, regardless of TPO.
But… it feels like everyone should own at least one jacket like this, don’t you think?
I used to think,
“Someday, when I’m a grown-up, this is the kind of clothing I’ll be wearing.”
And before I knew it, I had already reached that age.
When I look at old photographs of vintage workwear,
I often see men wearing overalls, casually throwing a jacket over them,
putting on a hat, and heading out for a drink.
That style has a certain quiet coolness to it.
Traditional tailored jackets can feel a little intimidating.
But this one—made with fabrics and construction that feel like an extension of a coverall—
was different.
It was the first time I genuinely thought, “Yeah, I want this.”
That’s how I met this jacket.
Lately, Tateno-san often says,
“It’s Field of Dreams.”
It’s not that you prepare everything and then something happens.
You build the field first—then things begin to happen.
Maybe that’s true for me.
And maybe it’s true for you, too.
By trying on a “jacket” that doesn’t yet exist in your wardrobe,
you might discover new feelings,
and even new encounters—simply because you wore it.
It might become your 7-5-3 ceremony jacket,
or the one you wear for your engagement photos.
Either way, I hope you give it a try.
