前回生産した Black Cat の Crew Suits に、Black Cat JK を重ねて着てくれた Kiriyama さん。
その姿を見ていてふと気づいたのは——TCBjeans の中に、レーベルとまでは言わないけれど、“ふんわりとしたカテゴリー” が自然に生まれてきている、ということ。
Black Cat JK には Black Cat のつなぎを合わせたいし、Cathartt には Cathartt のペインターを合わせたくなる。
Cathead には Cathead の……今後また何かが生まれてもいい。
もし、Adidas のジャージに Nike のスニーカーを拒む子どもがいたとしたら、困っているお母さんにこっそり伝えたい。

As I mentioned in the YouTube video released yesterday, it’s probably obvious what’s coming next.
When I saw Kiriyama wearing the Black Cat Crew Suits from the previous production, layered with the Black Cat JK, something suddenly clicked.
I realized that within TCBjeans, these soft, almost-label-like “categories” have started to form naturally.
With the Black Cat JK, I want to pair the Black Cat coverall.
With Cathartt, it feels right to match the Cathartt Painter Pants.
And with Cathead… well, it wouldn’t surprise me if something new is born in that world too.
If there’s a kid who refuses to wear Nike sneakers with an Adidas tracksuit, I’d secretly like to whisper to the worried mom:
“That might actually be the right answer.”
