と言われて、興味も無かったのに、これを断ったら業界に入る余地は無いと思い
『整備も覚えます！』
と答えた20歳の春。
その時ミシンの整備のイロハを教えてくれたのが親父と私が呼ぶこの人です。
私は整備を覚えた後にタイミングを見計らってユニオンスペシャルを縫うポジションを虎視眈々と狙ってましたが、後に整備の基本が有るからユニオンスペシャルが操れるんだと感じれたのは言うまでもありません。
今日のBlogはDead StockのChore Coatを親父に着て貰いながら、技術のデッドストック（技術の継承が止まる事）も絶対に発生してはならないと痛感しました。

Today I had my “dad” wear the BK chore coat.
I have written about him on this blog for a few times but when I moved to Kojima in 2000, I was job hunting and wanted to learn how to sew jeans. However, it was so hard to find the job because I was a man. Sewing was a job for women in Japan at that time.

But only one company said, well if you also promise you’ll learn how to maintan the old sewing machines, I will think about it. Immediately, I reverted “I will.” This is the man who taught me how and who I call dad.
I learned the repairing and maintenance on old sewing machines and later I found out that I could handle Union Special much more smoothly than anybody else. He taught the know-how and the technology and inheriting it to the next generation is as vital. While editing these photos, I was vaguely thinking about things like this　あand I was painfully aware of the importance.
