唯一私が親父と呼ぶ人。
20歳の時、児島に移住してすぐに出逢いました。
20歳少々の私が
『将来縫製工場をしたいからユニオンスペシャルを1台づつ売って欲しい』
と相談したら
『分かった！』
と1台づつ売ってくれました。
当時の私は給料の家賃以外の大半をミシン代に充ててましたが普通は与信の心配をして相手にしないですよね。
そればかりか
『娘は付き合ってくれないから！』
ってしょちゅう御飯を奢ってくれた事も感謝で一杯です。
親父との出逢いがなければ縫製工場としてのTCBはスタート切れなかったと思います。
15年経った今もTCBのミシンのセッティングの相談に乗ってくれています。
『そういえば15年経ったんです』
とランチにでも誘ってみたいと思います。

The only man I call dad.
When I was 20 year old, I moved to Kojima and soon after I met him.

I told him I would like to buy Union Special one by one because I’m planning to open my own sewing factory.
He said, Alright.

Back then, I was so broke and I had to allot all the money except for the rent for buying sewing machines. But, nobody other than my dad would have rejected my offer. I was just a nobody with little money. He must have worried a little bit if this young guy would really pay.

He also often said, “My daughter doesn’t wanna go eat out with me so let’s eat something and he treated me with good food.

Without the meeting with him, TCB wouldn’t have started for sure.
Even 15 years later, he is still maintaining our sewing machines.

Maybe, I’ll ask him to go eat lunch and this time it’ll be on me!
