ジーンズYouTube界の火野正平、つるっとさん。
最近は音声をより鮮明にお届けするために、新たなカメラに新調されました。
私の滑舌が悪く、興奮すると早口になってしまう癖も、
少しは聞き取りやすくなっていると嬉しく思います。
つるっとさんに普段のTCBの景色を切り取って頂くことで、
まずは児島の片田舎まで物理的になかなか足を運べないという方にも、
少しでも空気感を感じ取ってもらえたらと思っています。
もちろん欲を言えば、
この動画をきっかけに
「TCBまで行ってみようかな」
そんな一歩になれば嬉しいです。
それと私自身も、
YouTubeを介して自分たちのお店や洋服を見ることで、
普段なかなか出来ない客観視をすることが出来ています。
「この井上、何言ってるの？」
と、自分で思うこともありますが（笑）
プロのスポーツ選手がフォームを撮影して確認するように、
後付けではありますが、そんな意味も与えてくれています。
つるっとさんとは今日、食事をしながらこんな話をしていました。
「結局、私もつるっとさんも自分で始めたこと。
続けていると嫌なことが起こることもあるけど、
楽しまなければ意味がないですよね」
特にお店の日常動画はドキュメンタリー感が満載で、
始まってみないとどんな動画になるか分かりません。
お客さんが来なくて、
つるっとさんに「動画にならず申し訳ないな」と思う日もありますが、
極力リアルをお届けしていきたいと思っています。

Tsurutto-san, the Shohei Hino of the jeans YouTube world.
Recently he upgraded to a new camera so the audio can be delivered more clearly.
I tend to mumble and speak too fast when I get excited,
so I hope this new setup makes me a little easier to understand.
By having Tsurutto-san capture the everyday scenery of TCB,
I hope people who can’t easily make the physical trip to our small town in Kojima
can at least feel a bit of the atmosphere.
Of course, if I’m being honest,
I’d be even happier if these videos make someone think,
“Maybe I should visit TCB someday.”
Personally, YouTube has also given me a chance to look at our shop and clothing from a more objective point of view — something that’s usually quite difficult.
Sometimes I watch the videos and think,
“What on earth is Inoue talking about here?” (laugh)
But in a way, it’s like how professional athletes film their form to review it later.
Maybe that’s another meaning these videos have given us.
Today while having dinner, Tsurutto-san and I were talking about this.
In the end, both of us started what we do on our own.
If you keep going long enough, unpleasant things will happen from time to time.
But if you’re not enjoying it,
then there’s really no point.
Especially the videos showing the daily life of the shop —
they feel almost like documentaries.
You never really know what kind of video it will become until it starts.
Some days there are hardly any customers,
and I feel a little bad for Tsurutto-san because there might not be much footage.
But we still want to show things as they really are.
