ベンチも含めて9人で野球をしているようなチームTCB。
誰かが抜けると、すぐにそのポジションが空席になってしまいます。

現在、3Fの裁断工程は吉川君が一人で担っていました。
そこで私は今年の春、1Fで縫製をしている藤江君に
「3Fの吉川君の裁断の仕事も覚えてほしい」
とお願いしました。

すると彼は気持ちよく
「分かりました！」
と応えてくれたのです。

そして先日。流行りの病気で吉川君が久々に戦線離脱…。
もし裁断の供給が止まれば、1Fの縫製工場は一気にストップしてしまうところでした。

しかしこの時、藤江君が吉川君に電話でフォローしてもらいながら、何とか裁断を止めずにピンチを切り抜けてくれました。

この出来事をきっかけに、
「どの工程でもチームでカバーし合う」
という意識を改めて持つ、良い機会となりました。
（吉川君は災難でしたけどね…笑）
TCB is like a baseball team with only nine players, including the bench.
If even one person is missing, that position is left wide open.

At the moment, the cutting process on the 3rd floor was handled solely by Yoshikawa.
So this spring, I asked Fujie, who works in sewing on the 1st floor,
“I’d like you to also learn Yoshikawa’s cutting work on the 3rd floor.”

He readily agreed, replying,
“Got it!”

And then, the other day, Yoshikawa was forced to take a break after catching the latest going-around illness…
If the supply of cut pieces had stopped, the sewing floor on the 1st floor would have come to a sudden halt.

But thanks to Fujie, who managed to keep things going—while getting support over the phone from Yoshikawa—we were able to overcome the crisis without stopping the cutting process.

This experience served as a valuable reminder that
“every process needs to be covered by the team as a whole.”
(Though it was certainly tough luck for Yoshikawa… haha)
