ライニング付きのカバーオール、
Blanket Lined Cat Head Jacket が無事に完成し、
ご予約頂いていたお客様のお手元にも、そろそろ届いた頃かと思います。
いくつかフリー在庫が発生し、現在は
TCBオンラインストアと実店舗にて販売中です。
思えば、毎年冬になると作ってきたライニングシリーズ。
今回は二つのカバーオールをミックスさせて、一つのカバーオールを作りました。
完成してみると、とても可愛いワークウエアに仕上がったと自負しています。
ライニングのボーダーも、古着の再現ではありません。
「このカバーオールの雰囲気に合う柄は、どんな色だろう？」
そんな想像から色を決めました。
ネームやバータック、ボタンホールとリンクさせた
グリーンのラインも、可愛く仕上がったと思います。
そういえば今年はまだやっていなかったな、と思い
ひっくり返して裏で着用してみると、やっぱり可愛い。
ライニング付きの企画は、どうしても限定扱いになってしまいます。
その結果、過去の製品を振り返っても
経年変化をご紹介する機会があまりありませんでした。
今回は Blanket Lined Cat Head Jacket を着込み、
色落ちサンプルを作っていきたいと思います。
襟や袖のグリーンのコーデュロイが
どのように褪せていくのか、今から楽しみで仕方ありません。

The blanket-lined coverall,
the Blanket Lined Cat Head Jacket, has been completed successfully,
and we believe it has just about reached the customers who placed pre-orders.
A small number of pieces have become available,
and they are currently on sale at the TCB online store and in our physical shop.
Looking back, the lining series has been something we have made every winter.
This time, we combined two different coveralls into one new design.
Once finished, we feel it turned into a truly charming piece of workwear.
The striped lining is not a reproduction of a vintage garment.
We imagined what kind of pattern and colors would best suit this coverall,
and chose the colors based on that vision.
The green lines, which are linked to the label, bartacks, and buttonholes,
also came together nicely and add a subtle charm.
Realizing that I hadn’t done it yet this year,
I turned the jacket inside out and tried wearing it that way —
and once again, it felt just as charming.
Projects with lining inevitably end up being limited in quantity.
As a result, we have had few opportunities to look back and share
the aging and wear of past pieces.
This time, I plan to wear the Blanket Lined Cat Head Jacket regularly
and create a fade sample through actual use.
I can’t wait to see how the green corduroy on the collar and cuffs
will fade over time.
