いつもアイデアの整理に悩んだらブレインストーミングの相手をして貰うWORKERSの舘野さん。
彼もきっと同じ気持ちでいてくれてると思うのですがプロトサンプルの時点でハンドルの長さや配色のお話を聞いてたレザーハンドルのトートBAGがTCBにも入荷しました。
実はワーカーズといえばBAGから始まったブランドと言っても過言ではなくて、彼のマイブームで生まれるコレクションなのでラインナップとしてお休みしてる時も有ったとは思うんですが、今回は新たにBAG工場を見つける所からスタートして、埼玉だったかな？今BAG工場の帰りだよ！って嬉しそうに電話くれたりしてたので絶対に良い物が出来るよなってその頃から感じてました。

Whenever I struggle to organize my ideas, I turn to Mr. Tateno from WORKERS for a brainstorming session.
I’m sure he feels the same way, but even back at the prototype stage, we were already talking about handle length and color combinations for this leather-handle tote bag — and now it has finally arrived here at TCB.
WORKERS, after all, could be said to have started from bags. Since the collections are born from his personal passions, there were times when the bag lineup took a break. But this time, he began all over again by finding a new bag factory. I still remember him calling me excitedly on his way back from the factory in Saitama, and from that moment I knew something great was in the works.

Having watched him since the days when he was collecting L.L.Bean bags, I can say his craftsmanship truly conveys the maker’s personality.
