何年前だったかな？ そう思って遡ってみると、早いもので5年の月日が経っていました。
当時、僕の中にあったキーワードは 「憧れの回収」。
10代の頃に憧れていたもの。
ショーケース越しに眺めていた服。
憧れのお店のレジ裏、高い場所に吊るされていた一着。
雑誌が擦り切れるほど眺め、 ブラウン管の向こうで、大好きな俳優が着ていたあの服。
そんな記憶の中の一つひとつを、 「回収」という都合のいい言い訳のもと、 職権濫用、会社を私物化するように作ってきたのが、 実はTCBの企画だったりします。
もちろん、TCBでは “社内でしか作れないもの”を大切にしてきました。
でも、ブランド10周年という節目に、 「社内で作らないものを、あえて作ってみようかな」 そんな企みが頭をよぎったのです。
じゃあ、何が欲しい？ そう考えて真っ先に浮かんだのが、 16歳の時に観たドラマ 『協奏曲』 でした。
完成には、もちろん満足しました。
でもその時は、まだ気づいていなかった。
全国には、 90年代の“カッコマン”に憧れて育った、 僕と同じ世代の 「憧れを回収したいおじさん」 が、 想像以上にたくさんいるということに。
調子に乗った僕たちは、 雪柄だけでも SHAKEグレー、NTT東日本レッドと、 次々に作らせてもらいました。
その後も、別注先の盟友 SURE では 雪柄の展開が続く中、 久しぶりにお願いしたのが、 今回の—— 名古屋BLUE、とでも呼びましょうか。
個人的なおすすめの着方は、 レザーのウエスタンシャツのインナーか、 RED WINGのスタジャンの中。 そんな気分です（笑）。
まだまだ大人になりきれない ミスターチルドレンたちへ。

How many years ago was it?
Scrolling my own feed on IG, I realize that five years have already passed in the blink of an eye.

The keyword that came to mind back then was
“Turning the admiration from my youthdays into reality”
The things I longed for as a teenager, the jackets I admired in the display case, the jeans hanging high up behind the register at my favorite store, the sweatshirt that Japanese nationally famous actor wore.
I can’t have enough fingers to count my admiration.

Of course, at TCB,we have always cherished “things that can only be made in-house.” But with the brand’s 10th anniversary as a milestone,
the idea of “daring to make something that can’t be made in-house” crossed my mind.

So, what do I want?
The first thing that came to mind was these Snow Patterned Sweatshirts.
Wish we can share this feeling with overseas customers.
But these old school & adorable patterns are definitely cool to style in Amekaji style.
