SUREに、3年ほど前にサーモンカラーのHoodieを別注したのを覚えているでしょうか。
彼らがつくる色のバリエーションは、いつも“単なる色名”を超えていて、こちらの想像力を掻き立ててくれます。
そのうち僕の中で、SUREの色をまるで料理の素材のように捉えて、「ミックスしたらどんな新しい色が生まれるだろう？」と考えるようになりました。

そんななか、SUREの代表色といえばやはり “NASVY”。
NAVY が褪色していった先に生まれる、あの“茄子紺”を、彼ららしい言葉遊びで表現したネーミングだと思います。

そして、3年前に別注した“サーモン”。
この二つ——ナスとサーモンを“和えたら”、どんな料理（＝カラー）が出来上がるんだろう？
そんな、ちょっとした好奇心から今回の企画が始まりました。

もちろん、2トーンで仕上げるならベースは後付けHoodieの「ALASKA」。
仕上がったものを見た瞬間に、「あぁ、これはしっかり“美味しい料理”になったな」と思いました。
ヴィンテージの雰囲気をまといながら、SUREの遊び心とTCBらしさがうまく混ざり合った一枚です。

Do you remember the Salmon-colored hoodie we specially ordered from SURE about three years ago?
The colors they create always go far beyond simple color names—they spark your imagination.
At some point, I began to think of SURE’s colors almost like ingredients in cooking.
I found myself wondering, “What kind of new color would emerge if we mixed them?”
Among those colors, SURE’s signature shade is definitely “NASVY.”
It’s their playful way of naming that deep, faded navy—what we’d call “eggplant navy”—born from the way true NAVY ages over time.
And then there’s the Salmon we ordered three years ago.
I started imagining: What kind of dish—what kind of color—would we get if we mixed eggplant and salmon?
That small spark of curiosity is where this project began.
And of course, if we’re going with a two-tone design, the base had to be the after-attached hooded “ALASKA.”
The moment I saw the finished piece, I thought,
“Yes—this truly turned into a delicious dish.”
It carries a vintage mood, yet blends SURE’s playfulness and TCB’s character beautifully into one garment.
