久しぶりに Cathead Denim Jacket の生産スケジュールが組めましたので、予約を開始させて頂きました。
写真は、私がここ数ヶ月着用した一着です。
この生地は、糸を紡ぐ段階で「8番のストレート糸」と「9番手のムラが強い糸」を 1:1 でブレンドして作ってもらいました。
写真では少し伝わりにくいのですが、すでに “9番らしい”ムラ糸の色落ちが現れ始めています。
最近は Cathartt を着ることも多かったのですが、改めてこの Cathead も “まだまだ育てたい” と感じています。

For this fabric, we asked the mill to blend two yarns at the spinning stage: an 8-count straight yarn and a highly irregular 9-count slub yarn, mixed at a 1:1 ratio.
It’s a bit hard to capture in photos, but the “9-count slub character” has already started to appear in the fades.
Lately, I’ve been wearing Cathartt quite often, but revisiting this Cathead made me realize—this is a jacket I still want to keep on growing.
