秋の訪れと共に、夏の間にじっくり備蓄生産を進めていた Late S40’s が店頭・オンラインストアにて発売中です。
店頭には、実際に私が日々穿き込んできたLate S40’sも展示しています。
生地を作る際に、経糸だけで7.5番と6.5番手を混ぜて作りました。
一つの番手のムラ糸という生地の作り方では表現出来なかった大戦期の糸作りの表情を感じて頂けると思います。
LateS40’sの生地は比較的新品の状態では色が濃いのですが着ていくと共に表情が粗々しくなるのと、もう少し着込めばメチャクチャ穿きやすいクタッと感が出てくると思います。
リアルな色落ちの表情をぜひ間近でご覧いただき、これから自分だけの一本を育てるイメージを膨らませていただけたら嬉しいです。

With the arrival of autumn, the Late S40’s, which we carefully prepared through stock production over the summer, are now available both in-store and online.
At our store, you can also see the pair of Late S40’s that I have been wearing daily on display.
When creating the fabric, we blended 7.5-count and 6.5-count yarns just for the warp. This allows you to feel the character of wartime-era yarn making—something that couldn’t be expressed with just a single count of slub yarn.
While the fabric of the Late S40’s appears relatively dark when new, as you wear them the expression becomes rougher, and with even more wear, they will develop an incredibly comfortable, broken-in feel.
