Today, we finally have the Bush Pants, Baker Pants, and Tropical Trousers back in stock after a long while.
When we talk about Bush Pants, as the name suggests, they were designed for walking through the “bush” — with flapped pockets that prevent branches and twigs from catching on your clothes.
Baker Pants, much like the Bush, are known for their patch pockets.
Perhaps they were made that way because patch pockets are more durable than pocket bags, or maybe it was simply a matter of production efficiency, as they were originally designed as workwear.
As for the Tropical Trousers, our version at TCB reproduces the 1st model of the Jungle Fatigue.
Later versions were improved with a fly front to prevent snagging, hiding the buttons—but personally, I find that exposed buttons have a unique charm that always catches my heart.
To be honest, compared to the TCB 501 series, these pants may play a more “supporting role” in our lineup.
Yet, each pair carries its own story—born from practical needs and thoughtful construction—and in today’s context, those functional details have been beautifully transformed into design elements.
