日曜日のTCB１F工場エリアに降りると、口笛で SIAM SHADE「1/3の純情な感情」 のメロディが聴こえてきました。
目をやると、溝口が自主練をしていて、Vintageのウエスタンシャツを元にパターンを引いているところでした。 好きなことに向ける純情な感情は、きっと空回りすることはないはず。
ぜひ頑張ってほしいと思います。
そういえば、先日書いたBlogで、私が溝口くらいの年齢の頃に技術向上のために先輩やお世話になっている人にジーンズを作った話をしましたが… 無理して気を使ってシャツを作らなくてもいいからね（笑）
On Sunday, when I went down to the TCB 1F factory area, I heard someone whistling the melody of SIAM SHADE’s “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou.”
Looking over, I saw Mizoguchi practicing on his own, drafting a pattern based on a vintage western shirt.
When it comes to something you truly love, that pure passion will never go to waste. I really hope he keeps pushing forward.
Come to think of it, in a recent blog I wrote about how, when I was around Mizoguchi’s age, I made jeans for my seniors and the people who had supported me as a way to improve my skills.
That said, there’s no need for him to feel obliged to make a shirt just for my sake (haha).
