TCBでは、夏だからといってお店の景色がガラッと変わるわけではありません。
「暑いですねー。でもGジャンとジーンズを買いに来ました！」というお客様の声を、1年中いただいています。

そんな中、「たまには夏っぽいものも作ってみよう」と思い立ったのが5年前のこと。
でも直感的に、
「暑いけど、半袖シャツより長袖シャツの方が色気あるよね」
という感覚がずっとあって、作るなら長袖、と決めていました。

どうせリネンのようなワーク感の薄い素材を使うならばと、あえて1900年代初頭のドレスとワークの境目がまだ曖昧だった頃のディテールに着目。そこからこのシャツの企画はスタートしました。

シャツの特徴は、1910〜20年代に見られるクラシックな仕様をベースにしています：

襟は取り外し可能な仕様
左右非対称の「ガチャポケ」デザイン
左胸ポケットは懐中時計を入れやすいよう、大きめでラウンドした形状
一見プルオーバーに見えて、実はフルオープン仕様
裾のラウンドカットはタックインしやすく、着た時のアクセントに
クラシックでありながらも、現代のワークスタイルに自然に溶け込むようなシャツに仕上がったと思っています。

素材は前回同様のホワイトのリネンの他に追加したのがベージュストライプ
経糸にコットンの50番手の糸
緯糸にはコットン70%麻が30%のミックスされた糸を使用した平織の生地です。

そしてもう一つ久しぶりに作るのが5年前も同時にデタッチャブルシャツと同時に作ったPainter Shorts
1950年代のペインターパンツを参考にショーツにアレンジして作成しています。

是非Painter Shortsはデタッチャブルシャツは勿論、カバーオールなんかにも合わせて頂けたら可愛いと思います。

“It’s hot, but I came to buy denim jackets and jeans!” is what we hear from customers all year round.

Five years ago, we decided to try making a new product for summer.
But I’d always had an intuitive feeling that “it’s hot, but a long-sleeved shirt would be sexier than a short-sleeved shirt,” so we decided that if we were to make one, it would be a long-sleeved.
The left pocket has a wide, rounded opening for an easy access to your pocket watch or keys for today. Cat’s eye buttons used for the placket, oftens seen from the vintage work shirts. In the early 1900, the line between tailoring and workwears was still quite vague so that it can be sometimes found that a shirt has both the influences. This goes for our shirt too. At the first glance, it looks like a pull over shirt but is actually a normal button shirt. The hemline of this shirt has an uncommon rounded shape suitable for tuck-in but it gives a flair to the shirt even when untucked.
