今日は急遽、MOTOさんが久しぶりにTCBまで遊びに来てくださいました。
良い機会だと思い、SEAMEN JK、S40’s JK、Late S40’s JKを着用していただき、いろいろとアドバイスも頂戴しました。

そして、MOTOさんに会うと、ジャケットの襟を立てたくなる――きっと私だけじゃないと思います。

私は本池秀夫という人に会うと、モノづくりをする身としても、田舎でお店を営む身としても、本当にたくさんの影響を受けます。

まさに毎回、**「襟を正す思い」**に駆られるわけですが、今回はさらに、Gジャンの襟も立てたくなるような、そんな素敵な時間でした。

Today, MOTO-san made an unexpected visit to TCB for the first time in a while.

We saw it as a great opportunity, so we asked him to try on the SEAMEN JK, S40’s JK, and Late S40’s JK—and kindly share his thoughts and advice with us.

Whenever MOTO-san puts on a jacket, it mysteriously transforms into something that feels truly vintage.
And when I meet him, I find myself wanting to pop the collar on my jacket—surely I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Whenever I see Hideo Motoike, I’m reminded of how deeply he influences me—
both as someone who makes things, and as someone running a small shop in the countryside.

Each time, I feel a strong sense of what we might call: “straightening one’s collar”—both literally and metaphorically.
And this time, that feeling came with a smile—as I found myself wanting to straighten the collar of my denim jacket too.
