久しぶりに作ることができた、デニムのCat Head Jacket。
最近のTCBは、実にさまざまなカバーオールを作っています。
Cat Headシリーズだけでも、現在販売中の通常のヒッコリーとブラウンヒッコリー。
Catharttには、INDとBrownのPaw Stripe、Indigo HerringboneにHerringbone Denim。
そして、私が毎日のように着ているPurrculesのBKBK。
こうして書き並べてみると、本当にさまざまなカバーオールを、さまざまなシーンで着用していただけるように作ってきました。
ただ、ふと思ったことがあります。
これだけカバーオールが揃っているのに、セットで穿けるパンツが少なすぎないか問題。
Catharttには、同じシリーズのCathartt Pantsがあります。
でも、Cat Headにはありませんでした。
もちろん、作っていなかったのには理由があります。
パンツを作るには、元ネタとなるVintageとの良い出逢いが必要だったからです。
そして今回も、素敵な縁を介して、ネギを背負った鴨が私たちの前に現れました。
そんなVintageを元に、TCBキャットが美味しく頂いたCat Head Pants。
ようやく皆さまにお届けする準備が整いました。

It’s been a while, but we’ve finally been able to make the denim Cat Head Jacket again.
Recently, TCB has been creating a wide variety of coveralls.

The Cat Head series alone currently includes our classic Hickory and Brown Hickory versions.

The Cathartt lineup includes IND and Brown Paw Stripe, Indigo Herringbone, and Herringbone Denim.

And then there’s the Purrcules BKBK that I wear almost every day.

Seeing them all written out like this, we really have created a wide range of coveralls for people to enjoy in all kinds of situations.

But then something occurred to me.

With so many coveralls in our lineup, don’t we have far too few matching pants?

Cathartt has the Cathartt Pants from the same series.

But Cat Head never had its own pair.

Of course, there was a reason we hadn’t made them before.

To create the right pants, we first needed to encounter the right piece of vintage workwear.

And once again, thanks to a wonderful connection, a duck appeared before us carrying its own leeks—in Japan, that means dinner has practically served itself.

Using that vintage pair as our inspiration, the TCB cat has enjoyed every last bite and turned it into the new Cat Head Pants.
