私も大好きで、昼夜問わずカメラ片手に散歩している倉敷・美観地区のエリアに、
この度TCBを取り扱って頂けるお店がOPENしました。
実は、美観地区と児島って、交通機関を使うと少しアクセスが悪いんですよね。
なのでこれまで「旅行で美観地区には行ったけど、TCBまでは行けなかった…」という方にも、
手に取って頂ける機会ができたのは本当に嬉しいことです。
オープンから10日ほど経ちますが、すでに多くのお客様にご来店頂いていると聞き、
この場所のポテンシャルを改めて感じています。
店舗は写真の通り、景観を損なわない古民家をリノベーションした落ち着いた佇まい。
実はOPEN当日、私も店頭に立たせてもらっていたのですが、
記念すべき第一号のお客様がHANDYMANを購入してくださいました。
拙い英会話で「ベルリンから来た方だ」と思い込み、
ずっとライカの話をしていたのですが、
後で「ベルギーからだと言ってたらしい」とのこと（笑）。
それくらい、美観地区には世界中からお客様が訪れます。
この場所が、海外の方にも児島のジーンズを知っていただけるきっかけになれば嬉しいです。

I’ve always loved the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter — I often wander around there day and night with my camera in hand.
And now, I’m happy to share that a new shop carrying TCB Jeans has just opened in that very area.
Actually, the Bikan District and Kojima aren’t the easiest places to travel between if you’re using public transportation.
So in the past, we’ve often heard people say, “We visited the Bikan area during our trip, but couldn’t make it all the way to TCB.”
Now, thanks to this new store, those people will finally have a chance to see and purchase our jeans in Kurashiki.
It’s only been about ten days since the opening, but we’ve already heard that many customers have visited —
a reminder of just how much potential this location has.
As you can see in the photos, the store is a beautifully renovated traditional townhouse that blends perfectly with the historical scenery.
I was actually there on the opening day myself, and the very first customer purchased a pair of HANDYMAN jeans.
With my rather limited English, I thought the customer was from Berlin,
so I kept talking about the charm of Leica cameras.
Later, I was told they were probably saying “Belgium,” not “Berlin” — so close, yet so far!
The Bikan District attracts visitors from all over the world,
and I truly hope this new space will become a place where people from abroad can also discover the beauty of Kojima-made jeans.
