今日はTCB創業期から私たちの写真を撮り続けてくれている写真家の井之口さんに撮って頂きました。
実はまだ詳細は話せませせんが来週TCBでは撮影が入っていて、偶然そのプロジェクトの案件のカメラマンでアサインされたのが井之口さんという凄い偶然。

以前TCB15周年の際にPVを撮って頂く事になったキッカケも私が銀座のLeicaに行ってたら偶然再開して、
『そういえばPV撮って下さいよ！』
とお伝えしたのがキッカケでした。
（私が一度は掲載されたいと思ってるLeica Styele Magazineで特集されてるのも羨ましい）

人との縁とは面白い物で、今回も偶然をキッカケに面白い話にも展開する予感も感じてます。
写真は撮った瞬間から過去の物になります。
これから生まれる出逢いや軌跡を忘れない為にしっかりと写真とジーンズの色落ちに刻みながら楽しめたら良いなと思う日々です。

TCB20周年の際のPVもお願いできたら素敵だなって思います。

そういえば
黒い生地に浮かび上がる色落ちは、黒いフィルムに焼き付けられた写真を思わせます。
きっと黒から生まれる色落ちは軌跡をより鮮明に残してくれるように思います。

Today, we had a photo session with Mr. Inokuchi, the photographer who has been capturing TCB since its very beginning.
Although I can’t reveal the details yet, there will be a shoot at TCB next week, and by pure coincidence, the assigned photographer for that project turned out to be Mr. Inokuchi as well.
Back when we had our 15th anniversary, he also filmed our PV, and the trigger was another chance encounter. I happened to run into him at Leica in Ginza and said,
“By the way, would you shoot our PV?”
That’s how it started.
(And I must admit, I envy the fact that he has been featured in Leica Style Magazine, which is a publication I dream of being part of someday.)
Human connections are fascinating. Once again, a chance meeting feels like it’s about to turn into something interesting.
A photograph becomes the past the moment the shutter clicks.
That’s why I want to cherish the encounters and milestones to come, recording them both in photographs and in the fading of denim.
For our 20th anniversary, it would be wonderful if we could ask him to create another PV.
By the way, the way fading emerges on black fabric reminds me of photographs burned into black film.
Perhaps that’s why the fades born from black denim seem to leave behind an even clearer trace.
