学生時代からTCBに遊びに来てくれていた細川くん。

当時、
「自宅にミシンが欲しいのでミシン屋さんを紹介してください！」
と言ってきたので紹介したら、
一台ミシンが増えるたびに、わざわざ報告しに来てくれる律儀なやつでした。

私も、WORKERSの舘野さんやXX DEVELOPMENTの太一くんもそうですが、
20代の頃は“ミシンと同棲”して、時間もお金もそこに全振りしてましたね。笑

つるっとさんの動画では、しっかり彼のネガティブキャンペーンをしましたが、
その彼が乗ってきた車を見て一言。

「若いのに、良い車に乗ってるな〜」

…って突っ込んでたら、
よくよく思い返すと、自分も同じ年齢の頃にまったく同じBMWに乗ってました。笑

ミシンという同棲相手も、車も、
なんだか色々と自分と重なる、可愛い業界の後輩です。

これからも、この小さなジーンズアイランド児島で、
お互い切磋琢磨して、頑張っていきましょう。
Hosokawa-kun has been visiting TCB since he was a student.

Back then,
he once said, “I want a sewing machine at home. Could you introduce me to a dealer?”
So I introduced him, and every time he got a new machine,
he’d come all the way to let me know — such a thoughtful guy.

I was the same in my twenties — as were Mr. Tateno from WORKERS and Taichi from XX DEVELOPMENT.
We were basically “living with sewing machines,” pouring all our time and money into them. Haha

In Tsurutto-san’s video, I gave him a good bit of negative PR,
but when I saw the car he pulled up in, I couldn’t help but say,

“You’re pretty young to be driving such a nice car!”

…And then it hit me — I was driving the exact same BMW when I was his age. Haha

Sewing machines, cars,
even romantic partners (maybe?),
in so many ways, he reminds me of myself — a lovable junior in this industry.

Let’s keep pushing each other forward
on this little jeans island called Kojima.
