505TYPEのBKBKが久しぶりに補充が出来てTCB SHOPとオンラインストアにて販売中です。

2本のインディゴ色のジーンズが並んだ写真を確認して頂きたいのですが、505はファスナーを使いやすくする為にデニム生地に防縮加工を施さてますが、TCBではファスナーのテープ自体も綿を採用してる為、若干の縮みが発生します。
結果的にOne Washした時に前立てに若干のシワ感（パッカリング）が発生してジップフライ特有の色落ちが生まれます。
そのボタンフライとは違うアタリの出方にも注目して色落ちを楽しんでくれたらと思います。

何となくですが、ボタンフライタイプよりもジップフライの505は少しだけオリジナルの雰囲気や時代感に習って激しくヒゲを入れたりコントラストを狙うより全体的に色褪せさす育て方もカッコいいと思います。

BKBKの生地はタテ糸とヨコ糸共にブラックに染めてる生地という意味です。
世の中の黒いデニム生地の中には安く作る為に色落ちが進むと赤味が増して生地としての魅力が減ってしまう生地が多いのですが、TCBが作って貰ってる生地は色落ちしても赤味は発生せずに黒から白に向かいフェードしていく色なのでインディゴ同様に育てて頂けます。
今まで細かく語ってきませんでしたが、タテ糸は黒の硫化染料のロープ染色なので芯まで染まらない中白状態の為、色落ちします。
ヨコ糸はチーズ染めで芯まで染まっています。
結果的に縦糸のみ先に色落ちが発生し育てがいのある色落ちになります。

It’s been a while, but we finally managed to restock the 505 BKBK—now available both in-store and online.

In the photo, you’ll see two indigo jeans side by side, but let us talk a bit about this particular model.
Unlike our button fly jeans, the 505 uses a zip fly, and to make the zipper work more smoothly, we apply a sanforization process to the fabric. Even so, since we stick to using cotton zipper tape, there’s a slight natural shrinkage during the first wash, resulting in a subtle puckering along the fly.
This gives you a unique fading pattern that’s distinct from button-fly jeans—something only zip-fly lovers will experience.

In our opinion, the 505 is a model where you don’t have to chase super heavy contrast or dramatic whiskers. Instead, we recommend letting it fade gradually across the entire surface—more like the natural wear and tear you’d see in the ’70s originals.

As for the fabric, “BKBK” refers to both the warp and weft being dyed black.
Many black denim fabrics in the market tend to turn reddish as they fade, losing their cool tone and character. But the fabric we use was specially developed to fade from black to white, without the unwanted red hue.

The warp yarn is rope-dyed with black sulfur dye, resulting in a “white-core” that will fade beautifully.
The weft yarn is cheese-dyed, meaning it’s dyed to the core and stays dark longer.
This creates a distinctive vertical fading that makes it just as rewarding to wear in as your favorite indigo pair.

We haven’t talked about these details much before, but now’s the time to feel it for yourself.
