WorkersのBlogで「Days」というタイトルが新鮮だったので、今日は日曜日らしく、私の”Days”を切り取ってみました。

Vintageのカバーオールの調べ物をしていたんですが、紙の資料や古着屋巡りをするよりも、ワーカーズに行けばいいじゃんと思って、急遽訪問。
古着や靴をひと通り試着させてもらったあとは、なんとピアノの生演奏まで。その後、近所の喫茶店で、男2人で苺パフェを撮影。

お互いに何か考えていて煮詰まったとき、ふらっと電話やチャットで連絡して、ひとりで壁打ちしていた思考を相槌してもらいながら整理できる。そんな関係があるのはありがたいなと思います。

そういえば、先日のHailMary Magazineの見開き写真を撮ってくれたのは舘野さん。
メディアにはあまり出ない彼ですが、「つるっとさん」の動画にはちょっとだけ登場してくれているので、ぜひそちらもチェックしてみてください。
I found the “Days” title on the WORKERS blog to be refreshingly original, so I decided to share a slice of my own “Days” this Sunday.

I was researching vintage coveralls, and it hit me: instead of digging through paper archives or hopping from one vintage store to another, why not just visit WORKERS? So, I made a spontaneous trip.

After trying on a bunch of old clothes and shoes, I was treated to a live piano performance. Then we headed to a nearby café, where two grown men somehow ended up taking pictures of a strawberry parfait.

We both tend to overthink things. But when we hit a wall, just picking up the phone or starting a chat can really help. Having someone to bounce thoughts off—someone who listens and nods along—helps bring clarity.

By the way, the double-page photo spread in the recent issue of HailMary Magazine was shot by Mr. Tateno. He rarely appears in media, but he did make a brief appearance in a video by Tsurutto-san, so be sure to check that out too.
