ご来店されたお客様が穿いていた50’sが、あまりにもカッコよくて。
お願いして、試着の合間に写真を撮らせていただきました。

ふと目に入った鋲ベルトは、十数年モノだそう。
スタッズはほとんど抜け落ちて、跡だけが残る。
けれど、その“跡”が語るものがあまりにも多くて。
ピカピカの新品よりも、何かずっと強い“パンク”を感じました。

静かな輝き。
それは、使い込まれたモノだけが纏うことを許される空気なのかもしれません。

ジーンズも同じ。
穿き込まれ、色が抜けていくことでしか現れない格好よさがある。
この50’sも、いつかあのベルトのように、哀愁を纏う日が来るのだと思うと、今から楽しみでなりません。
The 50’s jeans our customer was wearing when they visited the shop were just too good.
I couldn’t help but ask to take some photos while they were trying on another pair.

My eyes were drawn to the studded belt they wore—apparently it’s been with them for over a decade.
Most of the studs have fallen off, leaving only traces behind.
But those traces… they speak volumes.
There was something far more punk in that worn-out belt than any shiny new one with every stud intact.

A quiet brilliance.
Perhaps it’s a presence only earned by things that have been truly lived in.

The same goes for jeans.
The kind of beauty that only emerges as the fabric fades and frays.
This pair of 50’s, too—someday, I know it will carry the same air of melancholy as that belt.
And honestly, I can’t wait to see it.
